Striped Edge Grain Cutting Boards

Edge grain cuttings boards are made by arranging strips of wood so that the grain runs along the length of the board.  These cutting boards have a sturdy surface that is resistant to warping and cracking. The “striped” effect comes from using different wood types, such as walnut, maple, and cherry, to create a unique and vibrant pattern that enhances any kitchen. Edge grain boards, just like end grain boards are gentle on knives, as the wood grain absorbs some of the impact, prolonging blade sharpness.
